Terms of Service
Acceptance
These terms are an agreement between you and Deadalus Systems, the maker of Runmate ("we," "us," "our"). By creating an account or using the Runmate app, you agree to them.
The Service
Runmate tracks runs, walks, and rides and turns them into games — racing ghosts of your past self and friends, leaderboards, and territory capture. The service is provided as-is and evolves continuously; features may change or be discontinued.
Your Account
- You sign in with your Google account and are responsible for activity on your Runmate account.
- One account per person, and it's yours — don't share or sell it.
Health & Safety
- Exercise at your own risk. Consult a doctor before starting a training program if you have any health concerns.
- Stay aware of your surroundings — never interact with the app in traffic or unsafe environments.
- Distances, paces, steps, and routes are estimates from your device's sensors and may be inaccurate. Runmate is not a medical device and provides no medical advice.
Fair Play & Acceptable Use
- Don't artificially manipulate activity data, leaderboards, or territory (no GPS spoofing, no recording activities you didn't do).
- Don't abuse, harass, or impersonate other users.
- Don't probe, disrupt, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service.
Your Content
Your activities, avatar, and shares are yours. You grant us the license needed to store them and show them to you and — per the app's features — to your friends. Deleting your account ends that license.
Termination
You can stop using Runmate and delete your account at any time in the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Runmate is provided without warranties of any kind, and our liability arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us for it.
Changes & Contact
We may update these terms; continued use after changes means you accept them. Questions: info@deadal.com.
