Introduction

Runmate ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we do with it when you use the Runmate iOS app. Runmate is a product of Deadalus Systems. By using Runmate you consent to the practices described here.

Account Data

When you sign in with Google we receive and store:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your profile picture, plus any avatar you set in Runmate

Activity Data

When you record a run, walk, or ride, we collect and sync to our servers:

• GPS route traces and timestamps
• Distance, duration, pace, speed, and step counts
• Derived gameplay data such as territory circuits and personal records

This powers your history, ghost racing, leaderboards, and the territory game. Location is only recorded while you are actively tracking an activity.

Friends & Sharing

• Invite codes and friend connections are stored so friends can find you.
• Your name, avatar, and activity stats are visible to your friends on leaderboards and as race ghosts.
• Share cards (including camera photos) are created on your device. They leave your device only when you choose to share them, and anything you send to Instagram, Snapchat, or another app is then governed by that platform's own policies.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, we store your device push token to deliver friend and activity updates. You can turn this off anytime in iOS Settings.

What We Don't Do

• No ads and no ad tracking
• No selling or renting your data to anyone
• No third-party analytics SDKs

Storage, Retention & Deletion

Your data is stored on our servers and encrypted in transit. We keep it for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data directly in the app (Profile → Delete Account), or email us and we will do it for you.

Children

Runmate is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
